Mommy made me some sock!
I finally found something I can make in a few hours. Toddler socks. The paid only took me a few hours and to be honest he loves them. He has been wearing them for the last 2 days and doesn't want to take them off. He actually brought them over to me this morning and sat down so I could put them on him. It was very cute. I think if I use this pattern again i won't do quite so many decreases, it came to much to much of a point, but they are cute never the less. The yarn was from the Yarn shop in Carlisle, it's a wool sock blend. I have some left over I may try and matching pair for myself soon. Socks seem to be very addicting...Here is a close up of the socks.

ReplyDeleteAdorable socks. What brand of yarn is that? In answer to your soap question re: what kind? I only do melt and pour soap as you have to deal with caustic substances like lye if you do the other kind. Not very organic to deal with and it is too time consuming. I would rather spend my time knitting some cute socks like yours.

I have sone a little soap making with a friend, but I think the lye stuff wuld be cool to try some time, but I agree, not too keen on handeling it.
