The sock trial..

Well learning knitting you are always trying new things, things you aren't sure if you can finish...but in the end you learn something from the project. I wanted to learn socks. I hate the cold and well socks help fight the cold... I started with a simple booties pattern. I though it was a little small for me, but I forgot the last step in the pattern, wash and block, this step lets it stretch into place and seems to help it fit more properly. I also think I knitted a little tighter then I needed to so it may have been less stretchy then intended. Over all I think for my first sock ever it turned out well.

  1. It DID turn out well! Is that the one that we had so much trouble fitting on everyone? It looks really good now, and not small at all.

I'll have to stop by sometime, I'm working on those Breeze footie socks finally. Slowly, but finally.
