Working from home...

So working from home has been interesting. I am fairly happy here, I miss a lot of the people I work with, but realistically a lot of them are also working from home so even if I were still in the office I wouldn’t see them. We are saving a lot of money each year and we will have the baby full time. I think at his age it’s a benefit to have him at home full time, and I decided to take him to the YMCA with me, they have a daycare while I work out so he can still have interaction with other children which is nice. I don’t take change easily but overall it’s been nice to roll out of bed and go to the next room to work rather than having to drive in, and this winter with the snow I am sure that perk will even seem more amplified. I think Nicholas likes it too he seems really happy to be home all day. And lunches and breaks seem a lot longer since I can spend family time during them. Jeremy and I also have 2 days off together which is very nice since we only had a single day off together for the last year. We have been able to get a lot more done around the house and around town. I think it’s going to be a good change.

  1. I miss you guys, too. A lot of people are gone, and it's just a lot more quiet around the office. Mark and I still hang out together, but most everyone else that I talk to or enjoy their company is gone or going.

Caddie's waiting for his DSL to be installed, and I guess Heather Tracy's going to be working at home too. That leaves me with Mark, Billie and Heather O, all of which leave in the middle of the afternoon.

    Yes, I'm whining. :D

Jeff's coming back though, I guess. I knew he wouldn't last, working from home with 5 kids.
